Writing For a Cause!
I'm very thankful to have so many incredible people in my life. Big hugs to my teacher friends who went out of their way to be a part of something really important this Thanksgiving. Thanks to you, 988 unique and lovely handmade cards were delivered to senior citizens across NYC, along with hot meals and food for the next day.

What is Project Give?
A few years ago, I started an important Thanksgiving tradition I call, Project Give. Instead of cooking a huge meal and celebrating with my family, I hit the streets of Manhattan on Thanksgiving Day to deliver hot meals to people in need. You don’t have to travel to New York City to get involved with this special project. To join me in my adventures, simply ask your students to get creative and make cards to wish the seniors a happy Thanksgiving. I’ll be sure that each senior receives your message of love.
The Power of Writing
So many of you got involved last year and it made all the difference. With your help, we collected over 2,000 handwritten cards. That’s pretty amazing!
